Christian music group The 9:9 Band, based in Farmington, New Mexico, celebrates an important milestone with the release of their debut album, “Greatest Gift.” Formed in 2012 as an extension of 9:9 Ministries, the band originally came together to provide music for local ministry conferences and events before expanding their reach to audiences beyond their home ministry.
Over the years, The 9:9 Band has performed at various Christian events and hosted their own monthly gathering, Friday Night Lights, for four years. They have also provided praise and worship music for The Passion Play of the Four Corners, further strengthening their role in the local Christian community.
“Greatest Gift” showcases the group’s musical versatility, blending rock, pop, instrumental music, and R&B while keeping their Christian faith at the center of the project. The band hopes listeners will connect with the love for God expressed throughout the lyrics and music.
The group features founding members Cynthia and Sherman Thompson and Chris Cliff, alongside Stan Burgett, Dr. Bob Bamba, and George Taylor. With songs such as “You Showed Me Your Love” and “One True God,” The 9:9 Band continues to share its faith through music.
