Roots and Americana duo Barn & Belle are preparing to release their highly anticipated debut album, Safe Travels, on September 28. Hailing from the south of the Netherlands, Lea Lomans and Jesse Deledda have built a reputation for their authentic sound and heartfelt storytelling.
The pair first met at the Maastricht Academy of Music, where their shared love for Americana, blues, ragtime, and swing laid the foundation for their musical partnership. Since releasing their debut EP Dancing Shoes in 2019, they have achieved notable milestones, including winning the Dutch Blues Challenge in 2022 and representing the Netherlands at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Their appearance on Holland’s Got Talent in 2025 further expanded their audience.
Inspired by years of traveling, personal growth, and meaningful encounters, Safe Travels explores themes of resilience, gratitude, and life’s many journeys. The album blends blues, country, bluegrass, western swing, and even mariachi influences, creating a rich and diverse listening experience.
