JAE5 recruites rising Nigerian star Lojay and Cameroonian-American star Libianca for new track ‘I Wish’

JAE5, the Ghanaian – UK based producer makes another come back with ‘I Wish’. A banging tune to wet our ears after being off for a while.

Known for continuously making hit songs with the some of the talented musicians out there, the Grammy-winning producer has recruited Nigerian star Lojay and Cameroonian-American singer Libianca for his new song.

Jae5 , the producer is known for bringing out some big hits in the UK and beyond, such as J Hus’ ‘Did You See’ , Dave and Burna Boy’s ‘Location’, continued to do his thing and took the spotlight in 2021 by releasing his debut single ‘Dimension’ ft. Skepta and Rema.

Last year, he continued with the summer hit ‘Propeller’ ft. Dave and BNXN and also produced a “Ginger” a song on King promise “5 star” album.

Jae5 recounted that, “This one’s a personal favourite, and we’ve got more in the locker”

Lojay also gave a personal view about the song,

“the journey of making the song was as memorable as the song itself”

With the chorus testifying that ‘I wish I poured all my love on you’ and lyrics such as ‘It’s been so difficult to ease up when you’re gone/ It’s a little rough, so I had to write a song’, ‘I Wish’ is a poignant yet captivating track that reflects the longing to have cherished and the desire for a second chance.

Starting the whole song with JAE5’s addictive signature afrobeat-infused production, Lojay’s effortlessly soothing vocals easily draw listeners into a world of bliss.

Taking charge of the second verse was Libianca, complements the Lojay with her truly mesmerising voice floating over the laid-back beat before both artists join the chorus in conjunction creating a melodious synth.

With this new song, Jae5 has once again proved his ability to create timeless hits songs and claim his status as one of the UK’s most important producers.
