Erick Oscar is a Panamanian-born, U.S.-based singer-songwriter who has spent more than 30 years playing acoustic guitar and writing songs. Growing up with ballads and love songs, he developed a deep connection with music and continues to see the guitar as a way to express emotions and work through everyday experiences.
His life across Panama, the United States, and Latin America has helped shape an eclectic musical style. Erick writes and sings in both English and Spanish, drawing inspiration from country, pop, ballads, salsa, merengue, bachata, flamenco, vallenato, reggaeton, and mariachi. Country music has a special place in his heart because of its raw and honest character.
Erick writes all his own lyrics and works closely with music-production software to create arrangements, instrumentation, and vocal performances. His debut album, Live, Learn, and Love Without Regrets, is a nine-song bilingual collection combining pop, ballads, and bachata. The album reflects his belief that music should connect with listeners and always have something meaningful to say.
