Northern California singer-songwriter and all-American rocker Aric Coyote returns with his sixth single, “Children of the Sun,” a melodic acoustic track built around a powerful message of acceptance, hope, community and peace.
The song takes listeners on a gentle lyrical journey, encouraging people to look beyond differences and recognize the shared humanity that connects us all. Coyote’s vision is supported by a simple and intimate arrangement featuring two acoustic guitars, soft handclaps and intertwined vocals. This stripped-back sound allows the heartfelt lyrics and uplifting message to remain at the center.
“Children of the Sun” reflects Coyote’s desire to connect with listeners who value heart, hope, spirit and humanity. The song encourages audiences to keep believing in the possibility of a better future and to consider the world they will leave for generations to come.
With musical roots influenced by folk, classic rock, new wave, punk and indie rock, Coyote brings a broad range of influences to his songwriting. After years of performing around Northern California, he is now preparing for the release of his debut album in October 2026.
