Faith Walker™ explores emotional vulnerability and the hidden tenderness behind a guarded heart in the new single Soft in the Middle, released October 16, 2026. The secular song offers a relatable story about a woman whose difficult experiences have shaped her strong exterior while protecting a sensitive and caring personality underneath.
Through its emotional storytelling, Soft in the Middle highlights the importance of looking beyond first impressions and understanding the experiences that influence people’s behavior. As trust develops and emotional barriers begin to fall, the song reveals how vulnerability and kindness can exist beneath an apparently tough personality.
The release follows previous singles Lonely Road and Shining on Me, continuing Faith Walker™’s exploration of meaningful human experiences through music.
Produced by Faith Walker™ in Decatur, Illinois, with mixing and mastering handled by Chris Adams in Atlanta, Georgia, the single is available on Spotify and other major streaming platforms.
Although Faith Walker™ is primarily rooted in Christian music, the project also embraces secular songwriting that explores relationships, personal struggles, and everyday experiences.
With Soft in the Middle, Faith Walker™ delivers a thoughtful reminder that sometimes the strongest exterior is simply protecting the most tender heart.
