Erick Oscar continues his musical journey with “Still Fighting,” an English-language multi-genre track shaped by decades of songwriting, personal experiences, and a deep love for music. With more than 30 years of experience playing acoustic guitar and writing songs, Erick approaches music as both creative expression and emotional therapy.
Born in Panamá and living in the United States for 34 years, Erick has also traveled extensively throughout Latin America for work. These experiences have influenced his eclectic musical identity, blending Panamanian roots, American influences, and Latin American musical traditions.
Writing and singing in both English and Spanish, Erick draws inspiration from country, pop, ballads, salsa, merengue, bachata, flamenco, vallenato, reggaeton, and mariachi. Country music remains particularly meaningful to him for its emotional honesty and raw storytelling.
Erick writes all his lyrics himself and uses music-production software to develop arrangements, instrumentation, and vocal performances, embracing experimentation along the way.
