Vasija de Barro Releases “Resucitó” – A Joyful Exaltation of the Resurrection

69

The worship band Vasija de Barro has officially released their latest single, “Resucitó”, now available on all digital platforms since May 16, 2025. This is the second single from a larger project that aims to return to the purest roots of congregational praise—born in every church, every corner where the redeemed gather to lift up the living Christ.

“Resucitó” blends joy and reverence, drawing musical inspiration from 90s and early 2000s Christian praise music. The track features touches of American folk and traditional gospel, with a powerful choir reminiscent of 1950s Protestant church music.

Inspired by Philippians Chapter 2, the song reflects on Christ’s redemptive work with simple yet powerful lyrics. It was born from a spontaneous chorus hummed by lead singer Miguel Díaz over several days, later shaped into a full composition with guitar in hand and a heart ready to worship.

Produced by Roberto Andrade, recorded and mixed by Daniel Zárate at Mix Factory, and mastered by Dave Kutch at Mastering Palace, the track features talented musicians including Danny Martínez, Mike Zúñiga, Roberto Prado, and Roberto Andrade.

More than just a song, Resucitó is a call to joy—a singable, uplifting anthem that invites listeners to reconnect with the beauty of salvation through Christ’s resurrection. As Miguel shares, “We hope every listener can connect with their own redemption story and revive that first love by remembering the victory of the resurrection.”
