The Norwegian singer-songwriter Terje Gravdal comes back with his new single “No Broken Adult”

“No Broken Adult” marks the seventh release of the year for the artist and the 22nd since 2022, forming part of the upcoming fourth EP, The Dreamer. Blending Country and Folk with a subtle Viking-inspired undertone, the song uses its grounded, earthy atmosphere to amplify a powerful message: how can we prevent today’s children from becoming tomorrow’s broken adults?

The track explores one of adulthood’s hardest truths—that we often must keep moving forward even when we feel fractured inside. While childhood stories promise neat endings, life rarely follows such simple arcs. “No Broken Adult” reflects on this gap between expectation and reality, questioning whether society is shaping children for genuine fulfillment or simply grooming them to fit systems driven by power and profit.

Instead, the song suggests another path: raising children who breathe freedom, who are encouraged to explore, question, and think for themselves. It advocates teaching children how to learn rather than what to memorize, replacing forced obedience with curiosity. Even boredom, the song argues, can be a gift—an open space where imagination and creativity take root.

Through its heartfelt message and evocative sound, “No Broken Adult” invites listeners to reimagine what it truly means to nurture the next generation.
