The James Malcolm Band proudly announces the release of their debut single, “Knock on Marble,” now available on all major streaming platforms. Blending heartfelt storytelling with a timeless Americana sound, the track marks the beginning of an exciting season for the band as they lead up to their debut album Never Too Late

Co-written and performed by lead singer and co-founder Malcolm Flavell, “Knock on Marble” reflects on love, gratitude, and what truly matters when success loses its shine, a bittersweet contrast between humble beginnings and the hollow comfort of having it all.

Following the debut single, the band will continue its rollout with:

• “Brother, Are You Out There?” – A deeply emotional ballad inspired by a true family story of rediscovery and connection across generations.

• “I’ll Be the Fire” – A stirring duet about loyalty and devotion through life’s storms. The full-length album, Never Too Late, will be released on Thanksgiving Eve, showcasing eleven tracks that weave together themes of resilience, hope, and human connection, from the sunlit optimism of “Roll With the Sunshine” to the introspection of “Some Got Up.”

To celebrate the launch, the James Malcolm Band will perform their debut concert on Thursday, December 18th at Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This one-night-only event will bring fans into the stories behind the songs, marking a major milestone for the Florida-based band.

Co-founded by Malcolm Flavell, the James Malcolm Band blends classic storytelling, soul, Country, and Americana roots to create music that connects across generations. Named in honor of Malcolm’s late father, the band’s sound reflects honesty, hope, and the enduring power of human experience
