Son of Spirit, a singer and songwriter based in New Mexico, USA, announces the release of his second self-produced,D.I.Y. LP album entitled, Ancient CD Technology. The album features 12 tracks exploring themes of spirituality, meditation and yoga, LGBTQ+ religious a lie nation and reconciliation, extraterrestrials, love, and current events.
Son of Spirit is primarily a bass guitarist, but also weaves keyboards, synthesizers, rhythm guitars, Navajo flute, spolum drums, tabla hand drums, and other more obscure instruments, into his highly experimental and quirky musical creations. He blends written work from times past with the avant-garde sounds of the future. He is more concerned with finding fresh and new musical ideas, compared to producing something commerically viable.
Son of Spirit additionally plays bass guitar for a 50s and 60s blues rock cover band based in Albuquerque, New Mexico named Blue J and the Pigeons, a punk / metal band All the Rage, and has played bass guitar in the past for the bands 8 fingered jakob, Trans friction, Diesel hourse, Ambient,and Crash Habit.
