Perimeter Worship announces the release of their new live worship single, “Stand in Awe,” a Christ-centered anthem from their forthcoming live album set to release this April. Captured in a congregational setting, the song invites the Church to respond with reverence and gratitude to the finished work of Jesus Christ.
“Stand in Awe” declares the glory, authority, and sufficiency of Christ. Its modern worship sound is marked by soaring melodies and a strong congregational chorus, designed to be singable while also being rooted in Scripture.
Lyrically, “Stand in Awe” points the Church toward the wonder of the cross and the holiness of God, culminating in the ancient confession: “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.” “‘Stand in Awe’ is a simple declaration, but one we never want to move past,” says Perimeter Worship. “Our prayer is that this song helps the Church slow down, behold the glory of Christ, and respond with heartfelt worship to what He has accomplished for us.”
