Morganway Return with Bold New Single “Machine”

UK-based Americana rock band Morganway are back with their latest single, “Machine,”. Following a standout 2025—which saw their third studio album Kill The Silence reach #4 on the Independent Album Breakers Chart, #9 on the Americana Chart, and #15 on the Independent Album Chart, alongside a sold-out UK and Germany tour—this new track signals an ambitious new chapter for the band.

Described by Morganway as a break-up letter to Spotify, “Machine” tackles the challenges independent artists face in the streaming era. Built around the line “We give to the machine but we don’t get it back,” the song explores the imbalance between creativity and compensation, delivering a candid critique of the modern music industry.

Recorded live as a band, “Machine” captures the raw energy, chemistry, and soulful feel that Morganway are known for, drawing inspiration from artists such as Alabama Shakes. The groove-driven track emphasizes vocals, harmonies, and organic instrumentation. In a deliberate move to align with its message, the single is unavailable on Spotify and is instead released via Bandcamp, with an official video on YouTube.

Morganway are also supporting the Music Venue Trust, donating 10% of every download to the charity, championing platforms that give back to independent artists. The release coincides with the band’s first-ever American showcase at Folk Alliance International in New Orleans, marking a milestone in their growing presence on the global Americana stage.

With “Machine,” Morganway combine grit, groove, and purpose—making a confident statement as they step into the next chapter of their career.
