The music video brings the message to life by featuring children—many from underprivileged and orphaned backgrounds—whose dance and joyful presence symbolize grace, growth, youthfulness, and peace. The production included creating and purchasing costumes for the children, offering them not only an opportunity to shine but also a reason to smile.
“This song is my testimony that God is good, no matter what we go through. I wanted the visuals to reflect innocence, joy, and the pure faith of a child, just as the Bible teaches us, ” says MaConny.
MaConny’s journey as a gospel artist is one of resilience and faith. At just 15, she gained continental recognition when her song “We Need Peace” won the Prize of Excellence for Peace Song Composition in Africa, commemorating the Hiroshima bombing.
