Eylsia’s Extraordinary Comeback: From Hospital Bed to World Stage With “People Say”

19

Eylsia, the artist behind the nominated track “People Say,” is celebrating an extraordinary career renaissance that blends resilience, technology, and a timeless 60s beat. The announcement comes following major nominations, including GlacerFm’s Listener Awards for Best Artist and Best Pop Song 2025, and recognition in Billboard’s Grammy Issue.

Eylsia’s return to music defied immense personal setbacks. After battling COVID-19, she was left with significant damage to her lung, respiratory system, and vocal cords, leading doctors to declare her singing career over. Undeterred, Eylsia leveraged technology and AI, collaborating with doctors and her research company, Worldipi.com, to successfully rebuild her voice.
This reinvention is not Eylsia’s first. She previously competed at the highest level of tennis, becoming the youngest Irish Open champion before injuries ended that path.
Her current sound for “People Say” is a tribute to soul and the iconic 60s beat, refreshed with a modern twist. Inspired by the Dusty Springfield hologram project (and Eylsia’s own hologram patents), the track fuses soulful vocals with a higher, catchy pop register and house-inspired percussion, creating a genre-blending, commercially vibrant sound rooted in joy and reinvention. In addition to music, Eylsia has launched a biography, the Nicolas of Palm Beach luxury line, and the Real Boxer clothing brand, marking a truly remarkable comeback.
