Singer-songwriter Asher Angel releases his newest single, “thinkin ‘bout me,” out now via Makasound Records. You can listen to the song here. “thinkin ‘bout me” tells the story of a man who starts to come to terms with a break-up and decides that the best thing he can do is to better himself as he moves on. Mixing elements of traditional country and modern-pop to help bring the story across, Asher captures the right energy of the seven stages of grief that comes after the end of a tumultuous relationship. The song is produced by Chrishan (known for working with Post Malone, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign) and Danny Majic (OneRepublic, Chase Matthew, David Guetta) who are both frequent collaborators of Asher.
“thinkin ‘bout me” is the second release to come from Asher this year as he gears up to release his project due to come out around the end of Spring. It serves as the follow up to his song, “alternate ending” which came out at the top of the year and indicated his long-awaited return to music. “thinkin ‘bout me” is available now on all streaming platforms worldwide.
