Art Morris:”White Chritmas”-Proving It’s Never Too Late to Chase a Dream

25

Art Morris is living, singing proof that passion has no expiration date. Entering the music scene at the remarkable age of 77, Art turned a life-altering accident into an opportunity to pursue the dreams he had carried since childhood. With encouragement from his girlfriend, he released his debut in December 2020—and what followed exceeded anything he imagined.

In just four years, Art has achieved over 4 million streams across Spotify and YouTube, earned a feature in JAZZIZ magazine, and climbed into the Top 20 on SmoothJazz.com. His growing catalogue even includes collaborations with jazz sax icon Mindi Abair and 80s pop star Tiffany, further cementing his place as an exciting new voice in modern jazz.

Craving a fresh twist on the classics he loves, Art teamed up with rock producer Brad Cox—whose work intersects with legends through producer Mike Clink—and invested in extensive vocal training with Atlanta coach Eva Lukkonen Sullivan. The result is a sound that reimagines jazz standards with renewed edge and energy.

As Art looks toward 2025, he’s preparing to release vibrant new originals and share more of his inspiring story. His journey stands as a powerful reminder: it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
