AIC is happy to announce the re-release of his single, “Ex-God in a Toga,” available now on all major streaming platforms.
“Ex-God in a Toga” is a jangle-infused track that explores themes of power, absurdity, and the end of the world as we know it.
“I drafted the lyrics on Election Night 2024,” says songwriter Daniel Berdichevsky. “Sometimes the universe seems so nonsensical that everything feels dark and hilarious at the same time, and I wanted to express that somehow. But it took months after that to find the music that fit the words and moment.” The Ex-God in question is never identified.
AIC represents the songwriting side of World Scholar’s Cup founder Daniel Berdichevsky, whose team there humored his musical bent for a long time before he made it public.
