Swiss-based blues and soul duo Eve Gallagher and Uli Heinzler are celebrating major recognition after their album Never Too Late was named Best Self-Produced Blues CD 2026 by the Swiss Blues Society.
The album showcases Gallagher’s soulful vocals and Heinzler’s rich musical production, delivering an authentic blues experience rooted in African American musical traditions. Gallagher, previously known for her 1990s dance hits, including You Can Have It All, has returned to her musical roots with a powerful collection of blues and soul compositions.
Featuring eight tracks, Never Too Late explores themes of aging, personal struggles, freedom, and emotional reflection. Songs such as Getting Old, Freedom, and Nobody’s Fool highlight the album’s musical diversity, while a heartfelt interpretation of Billie Holiday’s God Bless The Child pays tribute to a legendary voice.
The album also features accomplished musicians, including guitarist Jack Pearson, drummer Roman Roth, and Grammy-winning Hammond organist Ondřej Pivec.
With its honest songwriting, impressive musicianship, and deeply soulful sound, Never Too Late proves that passion for music only grows stronger with time.
