After more than 20 years of writing music privately, Nashville-based songwriter Brian Drelio is bringing his personal creative work to a wider audience with his first release, “HUMAN.” The project is built from songs and ideas Brian developed between 2000 and 2015, originally created without the expectation that anyone would hear them.
Brian wrote and performed the melodies, lyrics, vocal phrasing, harmonies, progressions, arrangements, and initial instrumentation himself. He recorded the original material in Pro Tools before using Suno AI as a production tool to expand the instrumentation, engineering, mixing, and overall sound of the finished release.
For Brian, AI is a way to develop human-created music into professional-level productions without the costs and limitations often associated with traditional studio recording. At the same time, he draws a clear distinction between using AI to develop original human work and using it to create music without an underlying human creative foundation.
“HUMAN” introduces listeners to Brian’s songwriting through music that combines years of personal creativity with modern production technology. Brian hopes the release will open a new chapter in his musical journey.
