Christian music group The 9:9 Band from Farmington, New Mexico, has released an updated 2026 version of their song “Broken,” giving fans a richer listening experience. The refreshed single was released one year after the band’s debut album, The Greatest Gift, introduced their music to audiences.
According to keyboardist and original band member Chris Cliff, the new version features additional vocal layers that make the song feel fuller and more powerful than the original 2025 release. The update reflects the band’s desire to continue improving their music while sharing a message of faith, hope, and restoration.
The 9:9 Band traces its beginnings to a 2012 meeting where members came together with the vision of forming a Christian music band. Since then, they have released inspiring songs such as “You Showed Me Your Love” and “Broken,” building a growing catalog of worship-focused music.
Looking ahead, the band’s biggest dream is to lead thousands of people in worship through their original songs, using music to encourage believers and point listeners toward God’s love.
